Matthias Hand
Matthias Hand (né en 1964 à Hanovre) vit à Munich depuis 1984 et a eu une carrière réussie en tant qu'économiste d'entreprise dans l'industrie automobile internationale. Au cours de sa carrière professionnelle, il a également vécu plusieurs années à Stockholm et à Londres.
Dans les années 1990, Matthias a découvert sa passion pour la photographie. Depuis lors, il est membre actif du club de photographie du groupe BMW et a réalisé de nombreux projets photographiques, y compris plusieurs expositions. Parmi ses œuvres les plus remarquables, on trouve :

Il se spécialise dans la photographie de personnes à la lumière naturelle. Pour Matthias, les êtres humains sont les sujets photographiques les plus fascinants, offrant une variété infinie de visages, d'expressions et d'émotions qui racontent une histoire. Avec son appareil photo Nikon sans miroir, il crée des portraits artistiques à la lumière naturelle – quel que soit le temps – sans équipement supplémentaire ni retouche numérique.
En 2025, Matthias présentera sa première exposition personnelle intitulée « Visages du Monde » à la Galerie chez Mechtild à Goult, dans le Luberon. L'exposition présente des photographies frappantes du Bangladesh, du Rajasthan, d'Oman et de la Papouasie-Nouvelle-Guinée.
Matthias Hand (geb. 1964 in Hannover) lebt seit 1984 in München und blickt auf eine erfolgreiche Karriere als Betriebswirt in der internationalen Automobilbranche zurück. Während seiner beruflichen Laufbahn lebte er auch mehrere Jahre in Stockholm und London.
In den 1990er Jahren entdeckte er seine Leidenschaft für die Fotografie. Seitdem ist er Mitglied im Fotoclub der BMW Group und hat zahlreiche Fotoprojekte realisiert, darunter auch Ausstellungen. Zu seinen bemerkenswerten Arbeiten zählen:

Seit 2020 hat Matthias Hand seinen Lebensmittelpunkt von München nach Maubec im Luberon verlegt und widmet sich zunehmend der Fotografie.
Er hat sich auf People-Fotografie bei natürlichem Licht spezialisiert. Für Matthias sind Menschen die faszinierendsten Fotomotive, die mit einer unendlichen Vielfalt an Gesichtern, Ausdrücken und Emotionen eine Geschichte erzählen. Mit seiner spiegellosen Nikon-Kamera kreiert er künstlerische Porträts im natürlichen Licht – bei jedem Wetter, ganz ohne zusätzliche Ausrüstung oder digitale Retusche.
Im Jahr 2025 präsentiert Matthias Hand seine erste eigene Ausstellung unter dem Titel „Gesichter der Welt“ in der Galerie chez Mechtild in Goult, Luberon. Die Ausstellung zeigt beeindruckende Fotografien aus Bangladesh, Rajasthan, Oman und Papua-Neuguinea.
Matthias Hand (born 1964 in Hannover) has lived in Munich since 1984 and enjoyed a successful career as a business economist in the international automotive industry. During his professional journey, he also spent several years in Stockholm and London.
In the 1990s, Matthias discovered his passion for photography. Since then, he has been an active member of the BMW Group Photography Club and has realized numerous photographic projects, including several exhibitions. Notable works include:

In 2025, Matthias will present his first solo exhibition titled "Faces of the World" at the Galerie chez Mechtild in Goult, Luberon. The exhibition features striking photographs from Bangladesh, Rajasthan, Oman, and Papua New Guinea.
